Punish Ramesh Powar

Making Ramesh Powar the coach of Indian woman’s cricket team clearly indicates that BCCI is not serious at all about woman’s cricket. Powar has absolutely no credentials to be the coach. What is his experience as a coach and how many matches he played for India.

Why he dropped her in spite of being fit for the match is unknown. He played just 2 test matches and 31 ODIs , becomes coach of Indian women cricket team which has done wonders and brought laurels. He should first learn how to handle someone who has played for India for 20 years....if he being just nameless in Indian cricket history, has so much air about himself... why not a woman who has proved her worth and also the best in world women cricket have bit of ego...his contract should not be renewed and it should serve as lesson for future coaches to coach player. We all very well know what Mithali has done for India and what Powar has done for India or the cricket game. BCCI should take a severe step against Powar that such an incident does not happen again with any cricketers. - Tariq Khan, Hyderabad
