Cong-TDP combine: What’s the big deal?

It is ridiculous to see that Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders including its president K Chandrashekar Rao have been making so much brouhaha over the Congress joining hands with the Telugu Desam Party (TRS) ahead of Assembly elections in Telangana.

In every public meeting he is addressing, Chandrashekar Rao has been vociferous in mudslinging Chandrababu Naidu, ostensibly due to the fear of losing out to him in the hustings. As Naidu rightly put it, there was a democratic compulsion for non-BJP parties to come on a single platform.

It is everybody’ knowledge that the Congress roped in the TDP, CPI and Telangana Jana Samithi to form the People's Front to take on the TRS in the Assembly polls. Any sensible person can understand that this alliance is all set to oust TRS from power. None can deny Naidu’s role in making Hyderabad a world class city.
