In case of hung Assembly, do you think BJP and MIM will support TRS?
With only one day left for polling in the Assembly elections, the people do not seem to believe that the polls will throw hung Assembly. Most of the respondents have made it clear that the question of hung Assembly does not arise at all. The voters, they have felt, will give a decisive verdict. At the same time, a section of respondents have said the MIM will certainly back the TRS in case of hung Assembly. A few of them have said the BJP may also extend its support to the TRS in view of the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.
I think MIM will support TRS in case hung Assembly. The MIM has already announced its support to the TRS - N. Ganesh Kothagudem
I think MIM and BJP will support to TRS party in case hung Assembly. The TRS has friendly relations with both the parties. - P Veera Babu Kothagudem
The question of hung Assembly will not arise at all. People know that in case of hung Assembly, the horse trading will take place. That is why the people will vote for whichever party they want and ensure that there is no hung Assembly. - V Narsinga Rao, private employee, Uppal
In case of hung Assembly, MIM will definitely support TRS. BJP will never support TRS to form the government in Telangana state. TRS will secure between 90 and 94 seat in the forthcoming elections Telangana people will vote for TRS for all-around development. - M Ramesh, farmer, Adilabad
There is every possibility of hung assembly in Telangana state, if it is the case, MIM may support TRS. But BJP may not like to be a fellow traveller of TRS. - N Venkateshwarlu , Internet centre , Nalgonda
If both BJP and MIM extend their cooperation to TRS to form government in case of hung Assembly, then there is no point in holding elections. Constitution should be amended to ban post poll alliance. - Kiran, bike mechanic, Nalgonda
In case of hung Assembly, the possibility of MIM giving support to TRS is very high. However, in case MIM severs its ties with TRS, then definitely BJP will come to the rescue of TRS, because earlier the TRS had supported the BJP at centre on several occasions. So, I feel if not MIM, then BJP may extents its support to TRS. - Sushma, a BTech graduate, Kalwakurthy, - Nagarkurnool district
In case of hung Assembly, I think BJP and MIM will support TRS definitely for their vested political interests. The BJP has declared its mission of securing 350 seats in the next Lok Sabha elections. By supporting the TRS, it will get the support of a regional party. In case of the BJP not getting majority in the next Lok Sabha elections, it may depend upon regional parties like the TRS to form the government at the Centre. - V Satish, student, Tarnaka
In case of hung Assembly, MIM will definitely support TRS party. Several welfare schemes launched by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for Muslim minorities. Neither BJP nor Congress governments had launched such schemes for Minorities . In the event of BJP extending its support to TRS, MIM will jettison the TRS. - A Naveen. employee, Adilabad
In case of hung assembly, I think that BJP and MIM will definitely support TRS. The TRS extended its support to the Central government in several spheres like GST. It also supported NDA Presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind. It also supported several bills introduced by the government in Rajya Sabha. MIM has already declared that TRS is a friendly party. - Matla Srikanth, self-employed, Huzurabad, Karimnagar
MIM has already made it clear that it would support the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) without joining in the Cabinet. But it is difficult to predict what MIM will do if Congress fares better than the TRS in case of hung Assembly. On the other hand, there is a speculation that TRS which is moving hand in glove with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to get that party’s support. - Raj Kumar K, private employee, Warangal
As of now, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen appears to be favouring to extend its full support to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) but who knows in case of hung Assembly. If the TRS is ahead of People’s Front (Praja Kutami) in numbers even in case of hung House, the AIMIM is likely to continue its friendship with KCR. Bharatiya Janata Party is likely to support the TRS due to its strained relations with the Telugu Desam Party. - M Kishore, photographer, Hanamkonda
In the first place, I feel KCR’s TRS party will emerge victorious with majority seats and in case of TRS party falling short of a few seats, the MIM is always there for it to support. BJP’s support to TRS will never arise. In case of hung verdict, then definitely the MIM and BJP parties along with some other small parties can play a vital role in the formation of the government. In my opinion, MIM is like a cat on the wall and it will may support either TRS or People’s Front taking its own interests into account. In the even of MIM not supporting the TRS, BJP may do so - Sudhakar, Jadcherla, Mahbubnagar district
