ISRO- a torchbearer of excellence

India has crossed another space technology threshold with successful launch of latest advanced communication satellite GSAT - 7A from Sriharikota on Wednesday. The communication satellite is aimed at primarily for Indian Air Force for enhanced coverage. This will give a boost to the strategic communication and networking capabilities of the Indian Air Force and other military operations. The GSAT-7A communication satellite is the heaviest satellite launched by the GSLV with indigenous cryogenic engine.

ISRO now has become a standard-bearer for excellence in space science. It’s launching of four satellites including GSAT-7A in just 35 days is a big achievement for the space agency. ISRO is now a world leader in cost-effective and reliable space launches, among its other achievements the best of India's scientific prowess. ISRO's successful journey  as India's premier space agency and it's unenviable record over the decades had made it stronger force  to reckon with among its peers across the globe.
