Modi should talk to Pakistan

Update: 2019-03-01 05:30 IST

More than 1250 Indian soldiers died during the last four years; whereas 171 soldiers died in 10 years under the UPA's former Prime Minister f Manmohan Singh.  It is an eye opener for our politicians to think it seriously at least now before the situation goes from bad to worse in the backdrop of February 14 Pulwama attack.

When the IAF's pre-dawns strike targeted on JeM camps in Pakistan's Balakot on February 26 where a large number of terrorists were killed and shooting down of a Pakistani fighter aircraft, India had too lost a MiG-21 fighter and also an IAF fighter pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was captured by Pakistani military forces in a dog fight in the skies with PAF.

However, PM Narendra Modi should not act either from his party leaders or under any third country's pressure that may lead more tension between India and Pakistan which only destroy the economy of both the nations besides human losses. Therefore, New Delhi should consult Islamabad to resume talks, since Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan was already telling India from day one to have dialogue with his government to solve the problems including the core issue of Kashmir.
