Two injured in Kanpur mud slide mishap

Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) : Two labourers were injured in a mud slide mishap in Kanpur on Saturday.

They have been admitted to hospital in critical condition.

"A basement was being dig. Three workers were working inside the basement and five were working outside. A heap of mud fell on the workers working in underground area of the building. Two workers got buried in the mud. The workers who got injured in the incident were sent to hospital," said Kanpur Additional District Magistrate (City) Satish Pal.

"Necessary inquiry and action is being taken," he added.
