Pak fires mortar shells across LoC in Poonch

Pakistan has once again violated the ceasefire and fired shells across the Line of Control in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. The shelling began at 11 AM in Khadi Karmara areas and continued for several hours. There are also reports that Pak Army fired mortar shells in Chakan Da Bagh area also.
Army sources said that the shells fell deep inside the territory.
There has been a spike in the cross-LoC firing. A total of 18 persons died in the cross-border shelling and 75 others were injured along both the LoC and the International Border in Jammu region this year.
