Two killed as car hits tree and breaks into three pieces

A rapidly passing car crashed into a tree, breaking into three pieces. The mishap took place at Bhopal-Indore highway in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday morning.

Eyewitnesses at the accident spot revealed that the tyre of the vehicle burst following which the car rammed into the tree. Ambulance and the police were alerted immediately by the locals at the scene.

However, the two passengers in the car died on the spot.

The accident vehicle (number MP 20 CB 4656) was identified and police suspect that the vehicle was being driven at a high speed which may have resulted in the accident.

A case was registered and investigation has begun.
