PK’s mistaken identity triggers speculations
New Delhi: Speculations were rife in Delhi in the afternoon that crucial political developments were taking place following the exit of the TDP from the NDA.
News channels went agog with reports that the YSRCP had asked its strategist Prashant Kishor to mediate with the BJP for a pre-poll alliance. It was reported that Prashant Kishor was given time by BJP national president Amit Shah when the meeting with the AP BJP leaders was on. The news went viral not only on television channels but also on social media.
It even invited reaction from the TDP saying that its charge that the BJP had conspired with the YSRCP to cause damage to the TDP was now proved beyond doubt. However, I-PAC, the organisation which is headed by Prashant Kishor, tweeted that the news was absolutely false. This is nothing but malicious attempt on part of some to spread false information. Forget about any such meeting, Prashant Kishor is not even in Delhi, the tweet said.
It all happened because of mistaken identity by a BJP leader from AP. Sources said that it was Satishji of RSS who had gone inside Amit Shah’s house to meet him. It is said that features of Satishji somewhat resemble Prashant Kishor. When a scribe asked the AP BJP leader whether it was PK who went in, he is said to have nodded and the news went viral.
