Sonia Gandhi wants Vendetta-Mukt Bharat

In a rare show of belligerence, former Congress chief Sonia Gandhi termed that the BJP was power hungry and arrogant. Calling the BJP a dramebaaz, she said the BJP will lose Karnataka and the rest of the country.

Addressing the 84th plenary of the party, she said the Congress was not a party but a movement. She said the recent bypoll results have shown that the Congress was on a comeback trail. Congress alone can take the country forward and the BJP has completely failed in delivering the goods, Sonia Gandhi said. She said the people do not want a Congress-Mukt Bharat, but a vendetta-Mukt Bharat.

She congratulated Rahul Gandhi on becoming the the party president and hoped that he would do well in the challenging time.
