Lok Sabha adjourned; No Confidence Motion not allowed
New Delhi: The no confidence motion tabled by several opposition parties has not come up for discussion on Tuesday as the Parliament has been adjourned over vociferous protests from the opposition parties
Interestingly, TRS, which has been blocking parliament for the last 6 days on Muslim reservations issue, has called off its stir. This means, only AIADMK remains an obstacle for discussion.
Already Thota Narasimham (TDP), Kesineni Nani (TDP), YV Subba Reddy (YSRCP), Mallikarjun Kharge (Congress) P Karunakaran, MD Salim (CPM) and Premachandran (RSP) have serviced the no confidence motion against the BJP government. If the AIADMK calls off its protest, the speaker could allow a debate on the motion. However, RajyaSabha adjourned for the day amidst cries of “no”, “no” from opposition benches.
