India, Nepal for better bilateral ties

India said India and Nepal would work together to improve bilateral relations. Both the countries said they would not allow the misuse of the porous border between the India and Nepal.

 This is Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s first visit after he took over as the Prime Minister of the country. They said both India and Nepal would strive for closer ties in matters of defence and security.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi felt that his motto of Sab Ka Saath Sab Kaa Vikas finds a resonance in Nepal’s slogan of Samridh Nepal Sukhi Nepal. On his part, Prime Minister Oli requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit his country at the earliest.
