Nepal: Crowd gathers in Janakpur for PM Modi's address
Kathmandu : Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's arrival in Nepal today, a wave of excitement can be seen among the citizens as scores of them have lined up to attend his public rally.Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address a public rally at Barbigha Ground in Janakpur.
Heavy security has been deployed at the location to manage the crowd.While some of the visitors want to listen to Prime Minister's address, others just want to have a glimpse of him.
While talking to ANI, one of the visitors, Sandeep Singh, said, "We will wait until Prime Minister Modi arrives here. We are very happy and excited to meet him."
Another person said, "We want to see him and listen to him. We want to know what he (Prime Minister) shall provide for Janakpur."
Another called him a religious politician, saying, "Prime Minister Modi will do something for our nation. He is the first (Indian) Prime Minister who is visiting Janakpur before starting his meetings in Nepal. He is a religious politician. He will also go to the Muktinath temple."
Also, the natives of Nepal expect Indian Prime Minister to announce plans for the country's development.
The Prime Minister, who is on a two-day visit to Nepal, will also be visiting Ram Janaki Temple situated in Mithila region. Elaborate arrangements have been made at the temple, where he is expected to offer prayers.
Moreover, he is scheduled to visit Pashupatinath temple situated in Kathmandu.
