Tamil Nadu TNBSE +2 Result 2018: Girls outshine boys in TN Board Class 12th Result, overall pass percentage at 91%

TN Board HSC Class 12 Result 2018, Tamil Nadu Plus two Result 2018 have been announced by Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu on May 16. Students awaiting TNBSE HSC Result 2018 can now check the outcome on the official website tnresults.nic.in. The DGE Tamil Nadu conducted the exam for Tamil Nadu Class 12 Result 2018 from March 1 to April 6. Last year the results were announced on May 12. 

The Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday declared the results for the Class XII exams held in March, with 91% of the students emerging successful.

Girls continued to outshine boys, with 94.1% of them clearing the exams, which was 6.4% more than that of the number of boys, according to statistics released by the state government.

Around 9.07 lakh students had registered for the exams that were held from March 1 to April 6 this year.

Among the districts that fared well, Virudhunagar topped the list, followed by Erode and Tirupur.Subject-wise, more number of students (96.4 percent) cleared Physics, followed by Chemistry, Biology and Maths.

As many as 2,110 differently-abled students of the 2,602 who appeared for the exams came out in flying colours.

1. Access the official website: tnresults.nic.in

2. Enter your roll number and other required details

3. Click on submit.

4. Take a printout of the result for future use

The Directorate of Government Examinations has been entrusted with the onerous responsibility of conducting the Board examinations for the students studying in the State Board in Std X and XII. The mark certificates issued to the students of standard X and XII is considered as a vital and valued document for continuing higher education and for seeking job opportunities.

Apart from above, This Directorate is conducting examinations and issuing a certificate for Diploma in Elementary Education, Government Technical Examinations and ESLC (Eight Std – Private Study). In addition, Scholarship Examinations such as NMMS, TRUSTS and National Talent Search Examinations are conducted by this Directorate.
