Jammu & Kashmir police find the Keypad Jihadis

Jammu & Kashmir police have recently been given a task of cracking down on Keypad Jihadis who spread false information online and give communal colours to events.

The crackdown resulted in charges against five Twitter handles and complaints registered with the service providers.

A message was sent to a micro-blogging site, to gather the information on these Twitter handles so action could be taken on them fast. A special emphasis was laid on popular social networking sites, as most of the false information is propagated through them.

This crackdown was done, so that the police can now focus on eliminating with real guns, with the Keypad Jihadis out of the way.

This false information can plunge the entire state into chaos easily, which is also one of the primary reasons for the operation.
