KCR meets Rajnath Singh in New Delhi

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is meeting Union ministers at New Delhi to extract more funds for the state, as a part of his tour of the national capital.

He has met Union Minister Rajnath Singh and held discussions regarding the fulfillment of the promises made in the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Reorganisation Act and allotment of the site for Assembly building.

The state government has announced that the visit was to get Presidential assent to the new zonal system of employment in the state. 

According to the reports, KCR will meet President Ramnath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a part of his tour.

KCR is likely to request PM Modi to take measures for Centre’s nod for the bill on the enhancement of reservation to Muslims and STs in the state.
