Rahul Gandhi to fly abroad, tells social media trolls not to get ‘worked up’
Sources said Rahul Gandhi will return within a week while Sonia Gandhi will stay abroad for a longer period.
Congress president said on Sunday he was accompanying his mother Sonia Gandhi abroad for her annual medical checkup while taking a dig at social media trolls.
In a tweet late night, Gandhi asked “BJP social media trolls” not to get “too worked up” as he will be back soon.
Will be out of India for a few days, accompanying Sonia ji to her annual medical check up.

The Congress chief will return within a week while Sonia Gandhi, who had undergone a surgery in the US in 2001, will stay abroad for a longer period, sources told PTI.
They said some key decisions, including the allocation of ministerial portfolios in Karnataka, have been put on hold.
Rahul Gandhi held deliberations with party leaders Sunday to decide on the portfolios for the party’s legislators in Karnataka, but the discussions remained inconclusive.
Some fresh appointments in the party are also awaited as part of the Congress’ rejig under Rahul Gandhi.
