Mercury rises in City

New Delhi (PTI): Mercury rose by a few notches in the national capital on Monday with the maximum temperature settling at 41.7 degrees Celsius.
However, the relative humidity registered in the evening was 62 per cent.
"The minimum temperature recorded in the morning was 30.4 degrees Celsius.
No rainfall has been recorded," a Meteorological (MeT) Department official said.
The weatherman has forecast partly cloudy skies for Tuesday.
The maximum temperatures recorded at weather stations were -- Palam 43.2 degrees Celsius, Ayanagar 42.2 degrees Celsius, Ridge 40.4 degrees Celsius and Lodhi Road 40.2 degrees Celsius.
