Watch: Residents of PoK accuse Pak security forces of illegal encroachment
Residents of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir's (PoK) Kotli district have accused security forces of illegal encroachment.
"What is your right to do this? You first captured our estate, and now, you are capturing our plots. We will not leave," the residents can be heard saying in a video clip.
PoK and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) often stage widespread protests against Pakistan's ill treatment of the region and its people.
The residents blame Pakistan for exploiting resources from PoK and for being responsible for the poverty and underdevelopment in the region.
The locals, including various leaders and activists, have also been accusing the Pakistani Army and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of enforced disappearance, extra-judicial killings and human rights violation.
India has been bearing the brunt of Pakistan sponsored terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir since over three decades.
