Update: 2018-06-08 00:04 IST

BENGALURU:On Wednesday, the chosen ministers for the cabinet have sworn in, to the H D Kumaraswamy government. But dissidence is apparent, due to previous heavyweights being booted from the cabinet, which caused protests from their followers.

Sources have stated that the dropping of the heavyweights was meant to communicate its unhappiness, with the local leadership’s wrong reading of the election, which eventually forced Congress to become a junior partner in the coalition government.

The JD(S) have also had to take brunt of their workers. To keep the dissidence on the low both the parties have decided to keep a few berths open. JD(S) has one berth in reserve and Congress has six berths in reserve.
