Ex-employee fires at his boss, as retribution for being fired
GURGAON: Anger at an ex-boss for being fired is something that happens quite frequently, but such cases turning violent is quite rare.
One such rare incident happened when a man, Joginder, open fired on his ex-boss, Binesh Sharma, for firing him.
Joginder was fired by his boss for unprofessional behaviour at workplace, which is a Gurgaon-based japanese company.
The incident occurred at 9am, when the boss was going into his office in IMT, Manesar, in a car.
Gurgaon police PRO, Ravinder Kumar stated that two men on a bike tried to intercept Binesh Sharma’s car, on gun point. When the victim did not stop the car, but rather accelerated, the accused open fired on the car, to kill the victim. The attackers both fled the scene and some passerby called the police.
Sharma has suffered two bullet wounds and has been admitted into Rockland hospital, where he has been treated for it. The police have stated that he is out of danger.
A case has been registered, under relevant sections, against Joginder and his accomplice and police are on the lookout for the attackers.
