High chances of a storm passing over UP

LUCKNOW: The Indian Meteorological Department(MeT), on Thursday, has warned high chances of thunderstorms and dust storm accompanied with wind, in over 20 districts in UP, in the next 24 hours.

The districts include Unnao, Farukhabad, Kannauj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Ballia, Ghazipur, Kushinagar, Mau, Deoria, Maharajganj, Balrampur, Shravasti, Lakhimpur, Kheri, Pilibhit, Rampur, Moradabad, Bjinor and Bareilly and their adjoining areas.

It is said there were light to moderate rains in the state, on Wednesday, and that Bandra recorded its highest temperature till date.
