Sambhaji Bhide claims mangoes from his farms helped childless couples have babies

 In a shocking claim, Bhima Koregaon riots accused Sambhaji Bhide said that childless couples have had babies after consuming mangoes from his farms.

Claiming that the fruit from his mango orchards also helps to have a male child if they wish, Bhide said that till date 180 childless couples took the fruit from him and 150 of them have had children.

Stating that he has planted the Mango trees in his farms, he said that the fruit is useful for those facing infertility. However, his statements have not been taken kindly as a noted lawyer and activist Abha Singh demanded action against Bhide for spreading superstition.

Calling it an offence to misguide to people under the Maharashtra Prevention of Superstition Act, Singh said that if the claims were true, mango explosion would be taking place. Even political leaders seem to have flayed Bhide’s statements as NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad said that a person who claims to be a nuclear physics graduate, makes such laughable claims adding that there is no point demanding any action against him as the government is safeguarding him in even more serious cases.
