Nashik: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit the temple town on October 19, the concluding day.

The last phase of the Saibaba Samadhi Centenary celebrations will start from October 10 at Shirdi.

Police have started road mapping of Shirdi through drones to fortify security of visitors. Road mapping was made to ensure roads will be able to deal with the rush expected in Shirdi over the next ten days. On October 18, Dasara day, more than 10 lakh devotees are expected to assemble in the temple town.

Sources said PM Modi will perform Bhoomipujan of the new Darshan Queue shelter to be constructed in the Shirdi temple. Houses constructed as part of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be dedicated to beneficiaries. Last year on October 10, President Ramnath Kovind was in Shirdi to inaugurate centenary celebrations of Saibaba’s Samadhi year.
