“Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” - Shakti Shangam for Women Empowering
Lucknow: “SHAKTI SHANGAM” program was organized under the aegis of Aroj network India under the "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" campaign for women empowerment. In the program education minister of U.P govt. Anupama Jayshwal- Chief Guest, Minister of U.P. state urban development and Shri Girish Yadav and Ex Mayor of Gorakhpur Shri Satya Panday also recorded their presence in the program.
The program started with the guests after the lamp burning and offering flower on the goddess of power Maa Durga. After lighting the lamp Ms. Anupama, Chief Guest gave her golden words towards women empowerment with the mantra of sage "Yatra nariyasya pageant remnant tantra Devta”. Nobody can be a best friend and advisor than women. She talked about the contributions of women towards development of our society and family. She was welcoming this program and told this kind of program should be organized again and again for the betterment of our society and women empowerment.
This kind of program will create awareness in our society towards the development of girls and women. It will boost our society’s women's status. In the program Mr. Girish Yadav told people should teach girls so that they can make her future bright, and it will increase the glory of the state and nation. In the program women of different field got honored for their achievement. Dr. Snehlata Singh and Manju Singh awarded for Social services, Ms. Sudha Singh awarded for special contribution in games. Mrs. Chetna Pandey awarded for successful entrepreneurs in hotel and restaurants. Vandana Baranwal awarded for yoga Dr. Snehlata singh was chairperson of this program.
Abhay Singh told that to make any program successful hard work and dedication is required in the right direction which gives fruitful results for any campaign. Coordinator of this program Shailendra Rai and Ms. Neeraj Gupta talked about organizing this program in various parts of India. It will boost the moral power of women and motivate those women who are working in the field of women empowerment.
