New Delhi: Telugus living in New Delhi and Andhra Pradesh are gearing up to take part in the 'Dharma Porata Deeksha' being held here on Monday under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, in an unprecedented manner.

On the one hand, several Telugu organisations and associations located in Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Noida and Greater Noida are holding meetings to review the preparedness of their members and urging them to make the programme a success.

On the other, hundreds of Telugus are flocking the AP Bhavan to enquire about the Deeksha and look at the arrangements being made at the Bhavan premises which is going to host the protest.

Special trains from Anantapur and Srikakulam have  left for New Delhi to transport interested political parties, organisations, NGOs associations and others to participate in Deeksha on Monday. JAC members also are said to reach Delhi to participate in the Deeksha.

While the authorities are immersed in making the arrangements, MPs, Special Representative of the state government and the CM's OSD office are reaching out to media houses and Opposition parties seeking their support for Telugus in their fight against the injustice meted out to AP under Narendra Modi stewardship of the country.
