Is Modiji a ‘necessary evil’ to India?
Whether Modiji would get re-elected in 2019 with the same majority or not and if not, will the coalition government ever accept Modiji as prime minister, if at all the coalition partners accept Modiji, whether the authoritarian Modiji can manage the differences and contradictions of running a coalition government etc., are the questions people of India are seriously debating upon. Ironically all discussions are revolving around Modiji; he will or not, but no one is discussing Congress or other political parties, their leaders or their preparedness, how charming is their agenda etc.
On one side a strong Modiji and on the other side, the weak opposition parties with no agenda, principle or programme except kindling unrest and hyping some sporadic incidents and projecting all such incidents as all-pervasive truth in India.
Reason for people of India to re-elect Modiji in 2019 is remote because Modiji is seen as an era of promises but no action or any real delivery. As a ritual practice, he put all blame on the previous regime and this has become the most convenient answer for why none of the promises is fulfilled. More than addressing the real problems of the farmers, unemployment crisis, taking stern action against all scamsters, Modiji want to reform India with Vedas, Puranas, faith healing practices, cow urine etc. Our streets are ruled by cow vigilantes while the civic sense of our country is mocked by none other than the minister of science and technology.
Instead of improving the pitiable conditions in PHC’s, CHC’s etc., the government wants a pump in money to create more AYUSH clinics under the name – co-location programme for providing integrative health care system.
Considering all the above path-breaking initiatives of Modiji, no one in India would feel like to vote BJP again to power. It is possible that soon Swamijis, Babas, Sad Gurus, Sri’s etc., would be sitting on the interview board of IIT, IISc, IIM’s, AIIMS etc to select the talents because all those doctors, scientists, professors etc., must know Indian heritage and culture as well and therefore our spiritual leaders in the interview panel would assess the merit carefully. If next term is given to Modiji, such possibility we cannot rule out.
All our research funding agencies may be asked to fund research projects on cow urine, cow worship etc., besides that our IIM graduates may be asked to decode the management fundamentals in Maha Bharat than learning about world business etc.
When the world moves forward, Modiji may make India develop materialistically but its head must be looked back or must be buried under ancient tradition and recluse-ism. Such India may be called as New India. The question is do we need such India or not. If the answer is no, then the answer is clear, people should vote against Modiji. Such situation also would warrant the people to know that then for whom they should vote? It would be bizarre to suggest to the people of India that instead of vote for Modiji vote for dynast or left or SP or BSP or Lalu etc. If anyone provides such suggestion would be treated as mad and must be admitted immediately into the nearby cynical asylum.
The only possibility is to put harness to Modiji i.e. BJP should fall at least 75- 100 seats short of a majority in 2019. When people compel BJP to go for a coalition government, naturally Modiji or the sagh pariwar cannot execute their Hindutva agenda easily. In the name of reform, Modiji is trying to infuse Hinduism starting from our education to health care to international collaboration (solar mission).
Hindus object and question Hinduism more because of the intent of the present government. If the intention of the present government is to make people aware of Hinduism, its origin, its culture and richness etc., is fine but outrageously promoting the essence of Hinduism as advanced science of the universe only sickens people towards Modiji.
The recent attempt of Modiji’s administration to hijack the scientifically proven system of medicine and promote quackery and cross pathy by faith healers in the name of reforming our medical education and health delivery system shows how big a danger is going to engulf our nation once the NMC bill comes to effect.
For Modiji, whatever is written in Ramayana, Maha Bharat, Vedas, Upanishad etc., are the true science and not the discoveries/ inventions of Fleming, Einstein, Newton, Darwin etc.
For example, Trikadu and Tribala are the greatest medicines and not Amoxicillin cephalosporins.
Considering the present state of affairs of the opposition parties, Modiji is the necessary evil to India but he should be given power only through a fractured mandate where Hindutwa agenda cannot be engineered in India and instead development shall be the primary focus.
