Understanding the power of thoughts
Thoughts are things. They affect reality and can change our life. Thoughts are the interface between the past and the future. They can bring change into being. If we want our life to continue to be the same, then we ought to keep thinking what we have always thought and we will get what we have always got. If we want things to change, then the first place to start is by changing our thinking. What we think about today attracts the events and circumstances of our future reality.
Very often people are simply unable to stop thinking negative thoughts about a situation such as their finances. Thought forms can get so big that they contain more energy than we have to deflect or not think them. This can be thought of as a mental or astral virus. We feed a thought form every time we think it, so if we don’t like it, we have to stop it. No one can do that for us, unless of course, they are healers. Eventually if we refuse to think about a negative thought (which can take enormous strength of will) thought forms run out of energy. When that happens, things start to change for us.
Have you ever noticed that you can be lying in bed minding your own business and suddenly inside your head you find that you are thinking of the last argument you had with your partner, or your lack of finances, or you find yourself playing in your head something stressful that was said or done at work? These are thought loops. The brain just thinks them without asking us. It is like a record stuck on the same track (if you can remember records).
If a thought loop is positive, life affirming, beaming with happiness and enjoyment of life, then it will help you. It will lift you up, template energy around you with these types of energies, and attract to you matching circumstances. If your thought loops are negative, “I’m such an idiot” or “I’m always broke”, then they drag you down. They reinforce the problems you are having and dig the hole deeper.
Repetitive thinking about how terrible your marriage is or how empty your bank account is will create negative thought forms. This is destructive. To make life better, we need to release our negative thought loops and the beliefs that underpin them and start to replace them with something better.
Become one with the solution instead of feeding the problem. If our thoughts are instruments of action that template Divine energy and which can bring things into being, we need to be clear about what we think. If we want more money but we think negative thoughts about money, we need to start to think differently.
