Hyderabad finish third
Hyderabad: A proverbial one-run fetched Hyderabad Thunderbolts the third spot in the lay-off against RangaReddy Risers in the Venkataswamy Memorial Telangana T20 League at Gymkhana on Sunday.
The star performer for the eventual winner was Danny Prince, whose 104 helped them post an imposing 194 for the loss of three wickets. In rollicking form, Prince smashed the quick-fire century in 55 balls with the help of 11 fours and five sixes while Anurag Vittal scored an unbeaten 50 runs. Chasing the target, Risers finished at 193 losing six wickets. Prateek Pawar’s 69-run knock and Akkineni Akhil’s 51 kept their side in the chase till the last ball.
