Telangana footballers get Fabio lessons

 Hyderabad: A welcome morale-booster it was for the 40 and odd trainees undergoing the summer camp that is being organised by Telangana Football Association (TFA) in the Nacharam campus of Delhi Public School (DPS).

In town was none other than the famed coach from Portugal, Fabio, who attended the summer coaching camp and drew instant delight from the budding footballers. Fabio did not just come and watch the players but went around delivering pep talks and conducted practical lessons on playing the beautiful game. 

To the boys it was living a dream as they had never envisioned such a wonderful prospect. Helping them out all these days were the TFA appointed coaches, GP Venugopal and Rajkumar, who both along with TFA Secretary GP Palguna graced the occasion.

The Indian coaches have reassured to adopt the methods taught by Fabio during his brief, but very effective, presence. Meanwhile, Palguna informed that the Association was all set to launch the C-Division league at both Gymkhana Ground and Goshamahal from Sunday.

The inaugural day will see Artillery Center kick-off with CCOB Jr at Goshamahal Football ground while the first match Gymkhana Ground in Secunderabad pits Bolarum Sporting against Susai Sr FC.
