Ahmed, Apoorva clinch titles

Hyderabad: Mohd Ahmed of HMCC defeated Mohd Waseem in a lopsided final to clinch the men singles title of the first V-10 Telangana State Open Ranking carrom tournament organised by Carrom Association of Telangana State held at Chikkadpally Postal Community Hall here on Sunday. 

The World Cup-bound S Apoorva of LIC comprehensively defeated fellow LIC player P Nirmala for the women title.
