Jagadeesh, Sailu top

Vijayawada: Having caused a major upset by conquering top seed R Kajol Sunar of Vijayawada in the semifinals, unseeded Rajahmundry girl TL Harshitha succumbed to the pressure of the summit clash and lost the plot to Sailu Noor Basha in the women singles finals of the first edition of the AP State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament-2018 organised at Indoor Stadium in Vijayawada.

It was a double for Sailu as she also topped in the girl’s category. Guntur’s A Jagadesh Krishna clinched the men title with a comprehensive win over local hope Pavan Kumar.
