NSU outlying campus at TS sought

 Hyderabad: Buoyed by the proposed establishment of National Sports University for undergraduates in Imphal and setting up of ‘outlying campuses’ at Lucknow, Gwalior and Mohali, Chairman of Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS) Allipuram Venkateshwar Reddy has urged Union Sports Minister, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathode to grant an outlying campus in Telangana.

In a letter to the Minister, Venkateshwar Reddy has pointed out that Telangana boasted of state-of-the-art infrastructure was ideally placed and deserved an outlying campus.

The Chairman asserted that the State has a sizeable population of undergraduate sportspersons, who could take advantage of such a campus as the ambience would be perfect motivators.
