TPKL gets L&T boost

​Hyderabad: The second season of the ongoing Telangana Premier Kabaddi League (TPKL) on Tuesday received a shot in the arm that also indicates its rising popularity across the firmament. Coming onboard the TPKL bandwagon is L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Ltd (LTMRL) with the swanky Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) being made the League’s Official Transportation Partner.

The coming together of the two visible platforms was made momentous when KVB Reddy, Managing Director and CEO of L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Ltd unveiled the glittering TPKL trophy alongside Sanjay Reddy, the League Commissioner and Managing Director of Silly Monks Entertainment Ltd, which is promoting the extravaganza.

Also present at the function were owners and players from all eight participating franchises and officials of Telangana Kabaddi Association. Complimenting the organisers for a job done well, KVB Reddy said “kabaddi is a contact team sport, and we wish that a beautiful connection of strength, patronage and trust is established amongst TPKL, Hyderabad Metro Rail, and the valued metro riders in the city of pearls.”
