JioGigaFiber Effect: Airtel to offer 1,000 GB bonus data to broadband users

 New Delhi:This year Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance Jio is likely to launch its home broadband service called JioGigaFiber and already giving a tough competition to other telecom operators. BSNL recently revised its broadband plans make them more lucrative and now Airtel is all set to offer a good deal for its broadband customers. Airtel, the country's leading telecom operator has announced that it is giving bonus data to its broadband users on selected plans.

Airtel broadband plans are available with the validity of one month, six months and a year. The service provider is giving bonus data benefits on some selected plans across all its telecom circles. The bonus data benefit is available on the starting plan of Rs 799 and it goes above from there.

Airtel subscribers who choose Rs 799 plan per month will get 500GB of bonus date from the firm. The plan offers the FUP limit of 100GB at a speed of 40Mbps. Whereas, under Rs 999 plan the telco is offering 1000GB bonus data. The plan has the FUP limit of 250GB with a speed of 100Mbps.

Airtel’s plan of Rs 1,299 that comes with 500GB of FUP limit at 100 Mbps speed will provide 1000GB to 1TB of bonus data. Finally, the highest paid plan of Rs 1,999 of the firm comes with unlimited FUP limit with the bonus data of 1000GB. It is interesting to note that the Rs 999, Rs 1,299 and Rs 1,999 plan also offers data rollover scheme and it is also giving Netflix and Amazon Prime subscription.

Airtel is offering discounts on its plans of six months, as part of another offer. If the subscribers opt for the 6 months broadband plan then they will receive a 15% discount, on the other hand, the broadband plan for 1 year offers a 20% discount to the customers. The discounted plans are only available for the Airtel broadband users in Delhi, but the bonus data plan is available all the telecom circles.
