Nokia 6.1 Plus gets a new variant
The firm that owns the right to manufacture and sell Nokia HMD Global-branded branded devices worldwide, has rolled out a new variant in India of its popular mobile Nokia 6.1 Plus. The new variant is available with internal storage of 6GB RAM and 64GB. To recollect, in August 2018 the company had launched the Nokia 6.1 Plus in a single storage variant of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage priced at Rs 15,999. Apart from the RAM other specifications of the device remain the same.
Availability, offers and price
The latest Nokia 6.1 Plus will cost around Rs 18,499 and can be bought from Nokia's official website. From March 1, the same device will also be bought via retail outlets.
Nokia has tied up with telecom operator Airtel to offer Rs 200 cashback instantly and 240GB data over 1 year on three plans Rs 199, Rs 249 and Rs 448, as part of launch offers.

Nokia 6.1 Plus is an Android One smartphone and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box and has a hybrid SIM slot.
The smartphone flaunts a 5.8-inch FHD+ display with 2280x1080 pixels screen resolution. The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It also has a notch at the top of the screen with a ratio of 19:9 aspect. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 and packs 4GB/6GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB inbuilt storage which is further expandable using the microSD card.
When it comes to the camera the Nokia 6.1 Plus boasts of dual rear sensors of 16MP with f/2.0 aperture along with 5MP monochrome sensor and f/2.2 aperture. It also has a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture at the front.
The smartphone is powered by a 3060mAh battery and also support fast charging. Connectivity options available on the device include Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth v5.0, 2G/3G/4G/4G VoLTE and USB Type-C.
