Apple releases new update, includes fix for Telugu character bug

The Telugu single character which is causing the iPhones to crash along with several apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook has now been fixed.Releasing a new iOS 11.2.6 update, Apple has included a fix for the bug discovered last week.

The bug involved sending a character in Telugu to devices which resulted in making the iPhone and apps inaccessible. Even Safari and the built-in Messages app on macOS and the Apple Watch faced an impact due to the bug. 

Further, if sent in iMessage, the entire Messages app on the Mac, iOS devices can freeze up.In order to stop the crash, Apple released updates for tvOS, macOS and watchOS.
