WWDC 2018 conference: Likely launches by Apple this year
The WWDC 2018 conference dates have been announced - from June 4 through June 8 wherein Apple is expected to launch a bunch of products on both software and hardware front.
Based on the speculations, here are some options for the launch -
Apple tvOS 12
Apple tvOS is likely to get an upgrade with tvOS 12 which will make browsing content on the large screen easier and simpler.
Apple iPad with Face ID
It is supposed to make browsing content secure apart from letting users unlock the device easily.
Next-gen Apple iPad Mini
It is said to be less powerful than the rumoured iPad model with Face ID and is likely to be a cheaper iPad model.
Cheaper Apple MacBook
Reports suggest that Apple could be introducing a ‘cheaper’ MacBook model at WWDC 2018 conference and the rumoured budget MacBook product will have the same price as the existing MacBook Air.
AirPods 2
Usually purchased alongside the iPhone models, Airpods 2 might take a different turn and might be coming at the developer’s conference.
Upgraded Homepods
With some internal updates and more functions, the next-gen Homepods are likely to be launched at the conference this year. Last year, the first-gen Homepods were introduced.
Apple iOS 12
Likely to be the focus of WWDC 2018, the Apple iOS 12 for iPhone and iPad models will probably come with new features and optimisations. The upcoming operating system will be rolling out to eligible iPhone and iPad devices later this year.
Apple macOS 10.14
The macOS version is likely to be upgraded to 10.14 which will include more features onboard for Mac systems which will make shifting work from iPhone and Mac and vice versa more accessible.
Apple watchOS 5
The Nextgen watchOS is likely to bring more iPhone features on to your wrists with the watchOS 5 version preventing users to open their smartphones often.
