Apple Announces iPad Pro and Mac Event
Finally, after months of rumours, Apple has started sending invitations for its second fall event which is scheduled for October 30 in New York City at the Howard Gilman Opera House. In true Apple style, their invitation with a teaser image along with the tagline is mysterious which says, “There’s more in the making.”
In the September event, Apple has already made an announcement about Apple Watch Series 4, iPhone XS, XS Max and XR. This event is looking forward to featuring the announcement of an updated iPad Pro and a refresh to its Mac lineup. With this event, we expect a lot of releases from Mac updates along with an iPad Pro that should also sport Face ID.
The updated iPad Pro is to sport slimmer bezels with rounded corners including Face ID with no notch and no Home button. Also, if the rumours are right, the new iPad Pro is also anticipated to be thinner than the earlier versions. Apart from this, there are rumours that Apple will be ditching the Lightning connector in favour of a USB Type-C port, however, we don’t know for sure if it will make an appearance with this year’s model or not.
Other than iPads, Apple is also supposed to launch a new MacBook to replace the very old MacBook Air. There are also speculations that Apple will update its Mac Mini too. We can also expect that Apple may refresh its Apple AirPods as there has been no update since their arrival.
