TV review: Sony Bravia X9000F 4K Android
Recently in India, Sony launched its Bravia X9000F range of 4K Android televisions.

This Sony television claims to offer the best experience in terms of picture quality and overall Android. This Sony TV is a perfect blend of regular television set-top box and online streaming apps like Netflix.
Interestingly, this television is designed especially for 4K console gaming and targets serious gamers with money, obviously!
Design
Sony has ensured 100% satisfaction and quality for the money spent on it. The TV show off a minimalistic design with a thin aluminium frame around and a classy L-shaped stand. The connectivity ports given at the back are difficult to access. It could have provided a separate ‘One Connect’ connectivity hub to make the access easier with ports like HDMI and USB.
The new Bravia televisions still come with the traditional age-old remote control. Luckily, Sony has added exclusive Netflix and Play Store buttons. Making it handy and can also be used to control other devices including your set-top-box.
Display
Sony comes with the best visual experience. The X9000F TV is equipped with a TRILUMINOS display with a resolution of 3,840x 2,160 pixels. It has an LCD panel with Direct LED backlight. The picture is processed by Sony's X1 extreme and is aided by 4K X-Reality Pro for enhanced picture clarity.
Sony displays more contrast than traditional LED TVs and with X-Motion. The TV supports HDR10, hybrid log-gamma and Dolby Vision. The colours are vibrant and can be changed accordingly. Also, blacks are natural and give an immersive feel. This television will surely enhance the experience of HDR gaming if you have a play station.
It is recommended to get a high-speed fibre broadband connectivity for a superior experience while streaming content.
Performance and Audio
This Android TV comes with Google Play Store support. You can download apps, browse the internet and play games, and much more. You can connect your television to the home Wi-Fi and just sign-in with your Google Account on your Android phone and you are all set. This TV supports Alexa and Google Home.
You can pair Amazon Echo or Google Home device and control your TV. You can access to all apps like Prime Videos, Hotstar, Netflix, etc and with a proper internet connection, this TV will make you spoilt for choice in content.
The TV runs Android Nougat operating system with 16GB of internal storage. Sony provides two 10 W Bass reflex speakers. The TV has Dolby Digital, Pulse and Plus audio formats along with DTS Digital Surround.
