WhatsApp to roll out another security layer

WhatsApp is set to add another inventive feature. It will definitely be loved by security enthusiasts. According to wabetainfo.com the website that tracks WhatsApp updates. WhatsApp is planning to add TouchID and FaceID to its app. This means smartphone users can verify their WhatsApp accounts with FaceID or TouchID if they want to unlock the app. This is anticipated to be an opt-in feature, where users can enable this feature by going to the Privacy tab. Once enabled the option, the TouchID or the FaceID will be needed every time before accessing the app.

The FaceID made its first appearance with iPhone X last year and is there on all three 2018 iPhones -- iPhone X, iPhone XS and XS Max. The TouchID feature is available in nine iPhones -- iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S.
