Technology Fusion Centre inaugurated in Hyderabad

Technology Fusion Centre was inaugurated at the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate today by the Director General of Police M Mahender Reddy.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Centre allows access to a range of structured and unstructured data from various sources including city-wide surveillance cameras, dial 100, road accidents, Hawkeye, patrol vehicle tracking data, etc.

Consisting of several functional blocks which provide essential technology solutions in protecting communities and enhancing public safety, the Technology Fusion Centre is mainly set up to improve response time through aggregation, analysis, and circulation of information to the field officers.

The DGP further stated that the miniature command control centres including a video surveillance command centre, traffic command centre, etc will be set up in all districts across the state which will further connect to the Command Control Room in Hyderabad.
