Crime rate in Telangana has declined: DGP

Hyderabad: Telangana DGP Mahender Reddy said that crime rate in Telangana State has declined due to the effective performance of police department.

Speaking to media persons after reviewing the performance of Warangal Uran and Mahabubabad districts police on Thursday, the DGP expressed satisfaction on their performance. He said elaborate arrangements were being made for maintenance of Law & Order situation. He said people visiting the police stations were being treated equally, irrespective of their position.

The DGP also inspected the Hanamkonda Model Police Station and visited the command centre being constructed in police headquarters.  Later, he held a review meeting with the senior officials at NIT.
