BJP invites Maha Guv, CM

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State unit invited Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to attend the tribal festival of Sammakka-Saralamma Jathara scheduled to take place in January-February of this year in the State.

A delegation of BJP leaders led by party’s State President K Laxman met the dignitaries in Mumbai on Monday and extended the invitation. The party delegation visited Mumbai as part of BJP touring neighbouring States to invite the Governors and the Chief Ministers to the festival.

Both the dignitaries have assured to attend the festival. Dr Rajeshwar Rao, Premender Reddy, former MLA Lingaiah Dora, BJP ST Morcha national secretary Amar Singh Pawar, former MLA Vannala  Sriramulu and others were among those who met the Governor and the Chief Minister.
