24-year-old girl found dead with stab injuries in Hyderabad

A 24-year-old woman was found dead with stab injuries in Moosapet on Wednesday.

The woman, identified as B Janaki, a native of Srikakulam worked as a sales girl in popular supermarket chain D-Mart.

According to the police, the woman was found with stab injuries to her body and suspect it to be a case of murder.

Her roommate alerted the police about the tragedy. She was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.

Her roommate informed the police regarding a fellow salesperson, Anand who had been harassing Janaki for a while and used to regularly come to her house to persuade her. She further said that he had recently threatened to kill her if she did not accept his proposal.

A case has been registered based on a complaint given by relatives. The investigation is on.
