When Ivanka Trump visited the city, the officials worked day and night and transformed the roads, and beautified the surrounding. They repaired potholes, cleaned the pavements, road dividers and curbsides were coated with new paint. The fading Zebra crossings were made glowing. In many parts, the trees were also painted to look the city more beautiful.

As part of this mass makeover, a bus-shelter at Hitech Kaman was displaced in road widening. The GHMC officials assured the public that a new bus-shelter would be constructed at the same place. But they did not keep their word till now. In addition, they simply displayed a banner saying bus-stop ahead. Commuters have to go more distance to catch their buses. They criticise the attitude of the officials for not keeping their word. They have to walk all the way from the bus stop to the next.
