Parking lot or fleecing ground?

-    The new rates for two-wheelers is Rs 15 per hour
-    Rs 5 for staff
-    Rs 5 for  bicycle
-    The monthly fee for staff is Rs 150 but there is no mention on the display board for general public

The Secunderabad Railway station parking lot is notorious for fleecing customers. The contractor is back to his old ways

Secunderabad:  The next time you visit the Secunderabad railway station and are planning to park your two-wheeler at Secunderabad railway station, make sure you read the display board, lest the contractor fleeces you.

The modus operandi is thus: If someone is in a hurry to see off their relatives, the boy just does not return the change. The parking fee for one hour for a two-wheeler is Rs 15 and if you pay Rs 20 the chances are they would say they do not have change. Your body language gives way, years of experience tells them who to fleece.

There have been also instances when old receipts were palmed off to customers. On Monday, Ravi, a resident got a rude shock when he returned after sending off his cousin. He shares, “I asked the person at the parking lot about the fee and he said that it was Rs 15 per hour but when I returned he said it was Rs 18 and also had the audacity to say that he did not have two rupees change and wanted me to forego the amount.”
