Vemulapally ASI killed in road mishap

Miryalaguda: Assistant Sub-Inspector of Vemulapally police station died in a road accident that took place at Edukotla Thanda of Miryalaguda mandal on Monday late night. According to police, ASI Mastan Ali was returning home when the incident took place.

The ASI reportedly lost the visibility of the road due to fog and hit a lorry parked road side at Edukotla Thanda. The cop suffered critical head injuries and died on the spot. 

The victim was a native of Somaram village of Neredcherla mandal in Suryapet district and at present was residing at Bagarugadda in Miryalaguda town. He is survived by wife, two daughters and a son. Miryalaguda police registered a case and took up the investigation.
