Retired navy officer attacked with sickles in Hyderabad

A retired Navy officer was allegedly attacked by three unidentified miscreants with sickles in Hyderabad.

The former officer, Ikram Kaleem was attacked at his residence in Masabtank after he parked his car in the cellar of his residence. 

The incident was recorded in CCTV cameras and police are verifying to identify the accused. The victim was left soaked in blood and his family members along with other flat residences came to his rescue. He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the nearby Care Hospital. He is currently undergoing treatment. 

The police suspect that land disputes might be the reason behind the attack as Ikram is currently into real estate business. A case has been registered in this regard and further investigation is underway.
