Telangana International Kite Festival to kick start today

Telangana is all set to celebrate its third International Kite Festival from January 13 to 15 with the kite lovers from across the globe thronging Hyderabad.
With the Kite Festival coinciding with the Makara Sankranti festivities, the local kite enthusiasts along with scores of national and international flying clubs will be participating in the mega kite festival.
Aiming to educate and entertain through a series of kite-making workshops, the Kite Festival also highlights Kite-flying lessons for beginners and kite-fighting competitions for the kite lovers.
The major highlight of the event is night-time Kite flying.
